sidekick, Blackwing. Queen Grimelza was beautifully portrayed by Louise Young. For those of a certain age, her character reminded me of Servalan from Blake’s 7 (a 1970s/1980s science fiction TV series). Blackwing, was portrayed by Rachel Kay with flair and style to her performance, gracefully moving around the stage articulately. I was extremely impressed when Blackwing metamorphosed into the crow. This was very cleverly disguised with lighting and chorus around to hide the wings that appeared. It was so wonderful and magically to watch. Mirror, Mirror on the wall, namely Speaktrue, was portrayed by Angela Faulds who very much shone in her performance and was top notch. Snow White, portrayed by Becky Wright, was a very charming, marvellous, and loveable in her performance. She held onto her role with panache and charisma. As with all pantomimes, central to the plot is the Dame and her sidekick,
